I was introduced to pottery at an evening class in 1967 by Deidre Burnett (Fellow CPA), whose helpful approach ensured my continued involvement. I have been a member of London Potters almost since its inception, working from my then home in Muswell Hill. After an enforced break from pottery making because of moving house I have set up a workshop in a barn on a farm near Arundel. For the first time I have no other employment to distract from my pottery. At present I am concentrating on stoneware and porcelain vessels and testing celadon glazes and, more recently, shino glazes.
