Descriptions of pots
I introduce tonal variations to porcelain by joining different clay bodies within one form. The work is thrown and altered and through mark - making and painterly application of coloured slips, references travel and musical sentiments. Each piece is individual and the highly textured surface is enhanced through salt firing.
