I am originally from Taiwan and trained in both fashion design and later in Studio Ceramics.
The passion that I have for the wild life of animals motivates me to create a range of porcelain figurines of Horses and bears in various expressive styles,. They capture the spirit of these animals in dramatic poses and movement and yet they are freely executed.
My work evokes intuitive and subtle qualities infused with the beauty of nature. I developed my own technique and style. My inspiration comes from the narrative theme of classic literature, (Greek & Roman Mythology and Children's Rhyme)
I use porcelain as my work medium. The finished surface that I like to achieve is that of objects that have been eroded, and have been weathered with time.
