I admire 20th Century European and American painting and sculpture; the figure past and present, together with early Staffordshire pottery and 19th Century English Chimney ornaments.
My work in ceramics attempts to interpret the figure from a variety of routes, sometimes all combined in one piece, from figurative to entirely abstracted forms and surface marks.
