My style of work is influenced by my interest in horticulture including forms and patterns that suggest growth such as fractals and microscopic organisms. I make multiple maquettes as a starting point and develop these by throwing repeat shapes which I alter before assembling. I use porcelain and stoneware clay and overlay with layers of coloured slip and glaze.
