Music and natural form are my main inspirations, working in porcelain, bone china and stoneware clays.  I enjoy working to commission, and recent works include porcelain panels depicting specific pieces of music in literal and narrative ways, porcelain clam shells for ‘The Story of Venus’ and a ‘Ceramic materials and glaze test’  porcelain panel.

My translucent folded forms relate to rhythm, flow and unfolding of music through time. Narrative surfaces of slip cast wares are developed through my deep interest and studies in music, and in nature.
