Multidisciplinary & social anthropology study at the new University of Sussex (1965-70).

1970s and 1980s turned to potting and became a part time student at Sir John Cass School of Art (City University 1982-5).
1984-90 studio workshop was in context of community caring.
1992-3 Diploma in Art Therapy (Sheffield).

My work as a practising artist is ceramics, painting, photography & other media. Ceramics: Abstract, animal & figurative forms, vessels & wall hangings. High fired red & grey clays. Own recipe ash & other glazes. Ceramic broaches & Raku pots. Clay, decorated, pots, wallpieces & other media, painting & photography. Occasionally offer artist therapeutic space. Affection for historic transport, technology & environment. Interested in The Arts, quality of life, my work is with ideas & the imagination. I enjoy ordinary & extraordinary people.
