My thrown porcelain work is decorated using a simple palette of colour or further altered by perforating the outer surface of the clay. I often leave all or part of the outside of my pots unglazed allowing the user to connect with the raw quality of the clay. I use a mixture of commercial and home produced glazes and fire to Cone 6 in an electric kiln.

I am very aware of my surroundings, the forms and textures I see in daily life, which either unconsciously or more often subconsciously filter through into my work.   My aim is to make functional, friendly work with a tendency to the feminine and the delicate.  Work that can be used daily, but still be aesthetically enjoyed and appreciated.
