Kay Aplin has been an architectural ceramicist for over 20 years.  She has created many public works of art such as the garden ornament at Blackberry Hill Hospital and The Ceramic House, which provides a living showcase for her work as well as a gallery, an artist’s residency, a guesthouse, and a venue for a variety of events.

We’ll be paying a visit to Kay’s studio at Phoenix Brighton where she will talk about her career and work as well as demonstrating how she plans and creates different aspects of her work. This will be followed by a guided tour of The Ceramic House in the afternoon.
