Mayco Brush-on Glazing with Todd Hickerson 2025

Join Mayco’s Todd Hickerson for a hands-on ceramic glaze demonstration on the 05th October.

Todd will be showing off Mayco’s newest Stoneware glazes and Engobes, highlighting performance characteristics, tips for use, and popular glaze combinations in cone 6 (1240C) and cone 10 (1300C)  firing temperatures.

Participants will be glazing stoneware bisque bowls with a combination using a popular stoneware colour and a new Micro over an Engobe.

See how the glaze colours change with the newest Mayco Engobes! We will also test out the use of Mayco Fluxes and Washes and explore the wide firing range of Mayco’s glazes.

Each participants will bring their own stoneware bisque (fired between 950C and 1000C). Members will take their pieces home to fire their own work. Please bring packaging materials and boxes to take your work home.

There is no limitation of pieces to bring to the event.
