LP Annual Makers Award – Prize Winners Announced

We’re delighted to announce Jesse Finlay as the winner of the inaugural London Potters Annual Makers Award.  In addition to the £300 first prize, Jesse also receives a mentoring session with Claire Pearce at Thrown Gallery, plus a number of other benefits.

All applicants were required to submit a maker statement outlining how they would benefit from the award for their continuing ceramics professional development.  Jesse is a recent graduate from UCA Farnham and will be using the award towards setting up her home studio to develop her printed fabric and ceramic ink works.  Runners up Ania Perkowska and Justine Jenner each receive £100 for their respective projects.

The award judges were LP Chair Fay De Winter, Vice Chair Lindy Barletta, President Stephen Dee and Claire Pearce from Thrown Gallery London.

A huge thank you to all LP members who applied for the award.  We’ll be announcing the criteria and application details for the 2021 Makers Award next spring.
