I am an early stage potter, still experimenting with wheel thrown work, and glazing mainly earthenware in a small electric kiln in tiny studios in England and France. I enjoy making teapots, lidded pots and bowls. I am just venturing into throwing with porcelain and forays into wood firing, raku and salt firing.
The inspiration for my work is a fascination with the endless possibilities of form, surface, texture and chemistry. I am influenced by visits to Japan, Korea, China, France, Spain and the Netherlands.
