My work is inspired by the way changing light reveals the natural world. I am drawn to studio ceramics as a discipline for its aesthetic expression of practical form. I use surface treatments, depth of colour and texture to enhance and abstract the three-dimensional shape of my pieces. My chosen medium is hand-built stoneware.
