Path and Inspiration
My passion for ceramics started after university while taking part into a pottery workshop. I have had the great opportunity to learn and refine numerous techniques under the guidance of famous mentors and to get a fantastic pallet of inspirations through the many different countries I have lived in from Latin America to Asia, and now the UK. All these countries have helped me grow in this art and shape my style, and have been a new and strong source of inspiration and creativity.Process and Practice
Thrown or hand-built, my pieces are made out of different types of clays, from porcelain to groggy textures. I like to play with these different materials and to experiment with new shapes and with new glazes.
I do mainly electric firings, but I have also had the opportunity to do gas, wood and Raku firings, techniques I plan to use further.
