Path and Inspiration
I am drawn to organic forms. I play with classical shapes adorning them with botanical elements and high gloss glazes creating a balance between uniform and unique.I value the learning I receive from makers around me whilst contributing to the creative development of my community.Process and Practice
I design contemporary decorative forms casting porcelain slip to produce vessels which can be embellished with different slips, glazes and sprigs. These garnished vessels hark back to classical garniture displayed as non functional to enhance the decor of the home, often displayed on the mantle piece or in a cabinet as a collection.
