Path and Inspiration
We are a small ceramics producer working from our home studio based in West Sussex. Chris has had a keen interest in pottery since being introduced to it at school in the 90s. He finally decided to get back into pottery shortly after lockdown and hasn't looked back since. Emily has a love of art, enjoy pencil drawings, painting with acrylics and screen printing, to name a few disciplines. She enjoys carefully decorating and glazing the bisqued pieces.Process and Practice
Chris enjoys working on the wheel and finds throwing and trimming up the items he creates very relaxing. He works largely in various types of stoneware clay and makes everything from egg cups to large serving bowls. Emily enjoys working in earthenware to hand build display items such as birds and hanging decorations. She likes to hand paint plants, birds and medieval designs in colourful underglazes.
