Path and Inspiration
I am an Italian artist living in Brighton. Since a young age I have been involved in a wide variety of creative art forms and mediums, from make up and performance art, to design and
fashion. After moving to England I mainly concentrated on making jewellery, 3D collage and clay sculptures then recently I self taught myself ceramics.
My inspiration comes from childhood memories, friends and stories, manuscripts, encyclopaedias, antique prints, portraiture and the dark a sweetly mysterious.Process and Practice
I worked at home alone, usually well into the night, the silence helps the connection between my subconscious and hands.
I feel working with clay enables me to channel my imagination, mood and emotions into something palpable, “an object with a soul”.
All my pieces are hand built mainly using stoneware and porcelain and one of a kind.
