Path and Inspiration
Claire de Lune is a Scottish ceramic artist and painter living and working in North West London.
Process and Practice
She started her multi-media art practice in Edinburgh before relocating to Glasgow, Berlin, Margate and London. Her playfulness with materials was evident from the start, and she has now created her own immersive world of characters and symbols, little talismanic islands of love and hope for the viewer. She recently discovered she is descended from a long line of celebrated Staffordshire potters: The Adams Family, who have been based in Staffordshire producing pottery since the 1400s.
