Path and Inspiration
My ceramics are inspired by nature and place, combining thrown and hand-built forms to reflect balance between control and spontaneity. I use local materials and natural textures to capture the rhythm of landscape and transformation. Each piece becomes a dialogue between earth, fire, and maker—rooted in place, shaped by touch, and reflective of nature’s dramatic landscape.
Process and Practice
My work is entirely slab-built, inspired by nature and place. I cut, join, and texture each piece by hand, allowing the clay to reveal organic forms and quiet imperfections. Surfaces echo rock, bark, and earth—records of touch and time. Using local materials and natural tones, I create ceramics that reflect landscape, transformation, and the connection between maker, material, and environment.
