Path and Inspiration
I started pottery classes in 2017, and straight away was hooked with its endless possibilities for creativity. From then, to now that I have my own pottery studio, my enthusiasm for pottery has not waned. I never know where I will next find inspiration, whether it will be from a found seashell, or a man-made shape on the street.Process and Practice
I favour clean simple modern shapes, and then love to play with texture and finish. I often use slips which I burnish to give a satin unglazed look, or perhaps I will give the clay a textured finish, with a torn edge. As I mentioned above - the possibilities are all to be explored!
