Hello, I am Jane at Adorn Ceramics I make functional and decorative work using hand building and wheel throwing techniques taking inspiration from the natural world. All things botanical and coastal inspire my work through colour, form and imagery, firing layers of decoration to create a unique vibrancy in each piece.Process and Practice
I work mainly in stoneware and like to experiment, developing my designs with layers of glaze, slip and imagery to create one of a kind pieces full of character. Colour is a key part of my design process, creating interest by juxtaposing varied colour palettes.
