Path and Inspiration
My sculptural work has two main threads. Firstly, my Arboreal collection based on my walks on Wimbledon Common, the coast of North Norfolk and Cornwall. These are old tree stumps and my Bartmann Collection. Secondly Where Pop Art meets Political Satire, these are limited editions of pieces based on political issues. I work in collections, keeping my work fresh and exciting. I research something working in collages and work books and when I feel I have enough I transfer these thoughts and ideas into clay. My latest collection ‘The Disregarded’ are pieces that come from other collections that don’t work. My website expands on this.
