Path and Inspiration
I create work inspired by found objects while walking along the Thames. Old pipe stems, ceramic, bits of metal and wood transformed into something other by time and water. I like the process of making a vessel then handing it over to the saggar or sawdust firing and seeing what unique transformations occur.Process and Practice
I hand build, burnish and then saggar and smoke fire my pots using various materials to create one off surfaces.
