Path and Inspiration
Studied Textile Design, careers in management and Interior Design. Found Ceramics in 1998 and took courses with many top contemporary potters including the Friths residential course, Takashi Yasuda, Phil Rogers, Gareth Malone, Carina Ciscato and Chris Keenan. Lindy opened her first studio in 2000. In 2023 Lindy opened a new teaching studio and pottery shop on the high street in East Sheen. Sheen Pottery is a calm and creative space to meet and make in clay.Process and Practice
Lindy works with Art Consultants and Interior Designers who commission her to make unique and bespoke wall art installations, lampbases for grand interiors.
Lindy makes a large range of ceramics for the home, table and as statement pieces. She works in stoneware and porcelain clays, high firing to acheive movement in her jewel-like glazes.
Work includes large lamp bases and wide serving and wall platters with 24 ct gold rims.
