Creating one off, hand built sculptural ceramics. Inspiration from the spaces between our solid world, negative and positive space, the shadows created from light - light and dark - fragility and strength - duality. My practise involves hand building - rolling out slabs and forming shape. An important part of the making is the surface - using intuitive brushstrokes, natural colour palate and wax resistant which allows the clay body to be an integral part of the aesthetic.
