Path and Inspiration
I fell in love with throwing at school and have dipped in and out of pottery all my life but since 2020 when I took a career break I started in earnest to improve my skills and practice more often.Mostly I throw functional items; tableware that can be enjoyed daily for many years, but I also like to reflect the seasons and celebrations throughout the year with small decorative pieces. I am influenced by the nature that surrounds the shed as well as my coastal roots.Process and Practice
Throwing is my daily meditation away from the stresses and strains of the corporate world.I love to experiment with glazes and colours using as many different techniques as possible and learning everyday!
