Path and Inspiration
For almost twenty years I studied and worked in water wave mechanics as a hydrodynamicist, during the pandemic I dared to go to Iran to follow my dream, and learn what is called the basic of ceramics, from masters, later came back to UK bought a kiln and wheel to get my hands on the clay but life had other plans so I had to sell everything and leave UK for more than a year, this year was a difficult one but i am now back in London and be ready to get my hands on the clay soon.Process and Practice
during this year, I didn't forget my passion about ceramics, from reading so many valuable and educational books on Japanese aesthetics, to ancient Persian ceramics, to a more practical side of it such as surface decoration, glaze making and clay compositions I kept myself busy although not making anything, beside museum visits and online courses participation. I hope this will change soon since I hope in a couple of month I start working again in London.
