Path and Inspiration
Following a long career in Marketing & Events, I took the leap to follow my passion for the Arts and undertook a foundation in Art & Design at the Working Men's College. It was at WMC that I fell in love with Ceramics and went on to do a BA at Central Saint Martins. I am in my final year and will continue my learning journey by doing an MA starting Sept 24.Process and Practice
Throughout my learning journey, I have enjoyed every process I have been introduced too. I tend to focus on handbuiding, slipcasting, and sculptural pieces as I have not mastered throwing yet !! I will though.I love all things ceramic, the community, the tactility of it. I love the emotionality of the work; how each piece is charged with meaning and emotion by the hand of the maker. Ceramics is a journey, with twists and turns and a few nice surprises along the way.
