Path and Inspiration
I gained a Surrey diploma in three dimensional design Ceramics at Epsom school of art and design back in the seventies. I am influenced by many different ceramicists and cultures and always open to new influences.Process and Practice
All my work is made at Wimbledon art studios where I also give lessons on the potters wheel and in hand building. Most of my work is made by the coiling method using porcelain and stoneware clay bodies.
I also make my own glazes having tested many recipes which was also part of my employment as a ceramics technician many years ago in a college ceramics department.
