Path and Inspiration
‘A’ level pottery was my first experience of clay, I was hooked.
While working full time as an architect, many years of evening classes followed before further studies to gain more knowledge and skills completing a BTEC in ceramics.
Since 2000 I have had a small studio space at home where I can pursue my making using this wonderful material.
I find the varied world of ceramics fascinating and stimulating.Process and Practice
I make stoneware ceramics thrown on the wheel with an emphasis on form & function, I also construct hand built sculptural pieces for interior and exterior.
Clay is one of the most tactile materials, it is a joy and a challenge to work with.I am a founding member of the East Finchley Open Artists group.
