My work is deeply influenced by the raw power of volcanic lava and childhood summers on the wild beaches of North Norfolk. Every piece I make is carefully handbuilt or thrown from speckled porcelain or stoneware and I embrace the natural markings that make each piece uniquely imperfect. With a background in textile design, I use lush glazes that are full of life, and find joy in the unexpected way they react in the kiln.
