Path and Inspiration
I completed a UAL L2 Diploma in Art, Design and Media (Ceramics) in 2024. I am currently doing a BTEC in Ceramics at Morley College. I also teach at Hanwell Pottery Studio and have a home studio. I come from a background in Primary Education. I am inspired by many different styles, techniques and approaches and keen to continue to explore the wide range of ways I can express myself through this medium.Process and Practice
I am currently exploring all aspects of ceramics including throwing, hand building, sculpture and various surface design techniques. My process is informed by my personal experience and I use drawing to explore my ideas. I make models from cardboard and clay to transfer my ideas from 2D to 3D. I also use technology to develop my designs. I have an eclectic style at the moment as I love to try new and varied methods and experiment in playful ways.
