Path and Inspiration
I am a ceramicist based in Kent. I am currently attending the BTEC HNC Level 4 Course in Ceramic Design and hold certificates in City and Guilds Creative Design and the Full time Ceramics Course at Forest Row School of Ceramics. My passion for ceramics evolved during evening classes at Aylesford School of Ceramics alongside a professional career.Process and Practice
My current work is thrown porcelain decorated with my own designs, brushed on or applied as monoprints with added surface texture. I love colours in the form of layered, composite imagery and a built in narrative. My pieces are both functional and decorative. All are high fired with a transparent glaze to give a smooth finish. Born and raised in Hungary, I am inspired by nature and the traditions of my ancestry in the entire Carpathian basin.
