Path and Inspiration
I started with group classes at the clay loft in Stroud, this has led to an ever growing interest in all things ceramic. I have now branched off in my own in a little back yard studio, aiming to make modern functional slipware and excited to see where my pottery journey will take me.Process and Practice
Wheel thrown pottery, altered and added to by hand. Pulled handles and lugs to provide tactile interfaces with my pots. I also use very simple mark making, slip and slip trailing onto surfaces to provide interesting and modern free flowing decorations.
