Path and Inspiration
My style is influenced by both rustic French pottery, and my interest in contemporary art and architecture, with tendencies towards minimalism – and meticulousness. I find I’m able to draw on my aesthetics developed throughout my years working in visual communications, and greatly enjoy constantly exploring new shapes and techniques.I have also been teaching pottery classes since 2020, and love helping newbies play with clay, find their calm... and hopefully catch the clay bug too!Process and Practice
My work is mostly thrown on the wheel, and whilst I greatly enjoy creating minimalist pieces for tableware, lately I have been exploring sgraffito as a surface decoration technique on large, decorative pieces.
