We are pleased to announce our fourth Annual Makers Award, open to all London Potters members regardless of their stage on the ceramic journey.  You may be a student, part time or professional maker to apply.

The award encompasses our education remit in order to help you, our members, advance your ceramic practise. To apply you must complete your application form providing details on what you would do with the prize money and how it will help you.

We are pleased to be able to increase our prizes significantly this year due to the increase in our membership.

This year, the award selection panel will be made up of Claire Pearce, Rich Miller, Fay De Winter and Lindy Barletta. Please note that the panel’s decisions are final.

The prize 

• Cash award of £1000 to the winner. First runner up award of £500 and second runner up award of £300.
• The winner will receive a voucher for £50 towards London Potters events in 2024.
• The winner will receive a one hour one-to-one mentoring session from Claire Pearce at Thrown Contemporary.
• All three winners will be invited to a 30 minute conference/video call with Rich Miller for feedback.
• All applicants who do not win will receive written feedback.
• The winner and runners up will be invited to contribute to and feature in a Makers Focus article in the London Potters June/July 2024 Magazine.
• One year’s membership of London Potters for the winner.
• Certificate of achievement for winners.

Please note that the intent of the feedback is to support your practice. We will not enter into a discussion about the feedback.
