Kate Malone MBE Studio Visit – Exclusive to London Potters members

Our wonderful Honorary Ambassador Kate Malone MBE is once again opening her Balls Pond Studio exclusively for London Potters members to visit. Meet Kate and chat all things ceramic, ask questions over tea and mince pies.  Members are invited to bring one piece of their work, if they wish, for Kate’s constructive critique and to stimulate the conversation.

This event is offered to a limited number of 12 London Potters members as the studio is not large. Members who were fortunate to have visited last year under the same event are not eligible to attend to enable more members to experience this visit.

All the funds are being granted to Kate’s project FiredUp4.The Firedup4 project is part of Onside Youth Zones and aims to provide as many children and young people as possible with the opportunity to access clay, pottery and benefit from the huge health and wellbeing that this art medium can bring, alongside developing an array of fine motor and artistic skills that will give them both a creative outlet and a passion to express themselves through clay.

All funds less card transaction fees will be granted to FiredUp4.  There are 12 places available and the £700 or so will buy a ton of clay for one of the centres.
