Thinking about taking part on the firing team for the London Potters special firing in Oxford but want to know more about what is involved? Join Callum Forbes, London Potters member who will be helping teach how to fire the kiln, to explain more about what you can expect, and what you will learn if you decide to take part.

Firing an anagama styled wood kiln is a rare opportunity and we want anyone to feel confident in taking part, even if it has never crossed your mind before, so do come along and hear what it is all about.

For those who are thinking of submitting a pot for firing, we will also talk about some forms which work well and also discuss types of clay and other experiments you might want to try.

There will also be time for Q&A if you have questions about the woodfiring event during May.
