My work is either wheel thrown or hand built, decorative or functional ceramics. I use mostly stoneware, but have been enjoying working with terracotta of late. I favour clean simple modern shapes, and then love to play with texture and finish. I often use slips which I burnish to give a satin unglazed look, or perhaps I will give the clay a textured finish, with a torn edge.
