A childhood on the North East coast of England spawned my interest in marine ecology. My work reflects the earthiness of rocks (stoneware), the smoothness of shells (porcelain) and references damage to the marine environment. Thrown or handbuilt, I make limited edition high-fired functional pieces finished with my own glazes.
