I hand build both functional and sculptural objects which have the evident touch of the human hand. Each work is a unique reflection of the time and atmosphere in which it’s been created.
Drawn to simple forms, I try to embrace the beauty of irregularity and imperfection. My work is inspired by shapes and textures in the urban world around me, but also by other ceramic artists and exhibitions.
I am self-taught and started my practice 4 years ago, working from my studio in East London.
