I make interactive handbuilt and slipcast sculptures using coloured clay. I am interested in how the pre-existing embodied knowledge of clay can be used to create a bond between the audience, myself and clay, how dialogue can be held through this passive domestic material and how you can encourage a spectator to become a participant or co-create a piece through the tactile sensory elements of a sculpture.
