Zelide’s work explores rhythms through creating and applying repetitive pattern. Inspired by all things spiky, cacti, sea urchins, puffer fish to name a few and a fascination with spiral patterns that form throughout nature. Works are wheel thrown, press moulded or slip cast in white stoneware; decorated with coloured slip spikes.
