In these practical online sessions broadcast from Yeshen's studio, Yeshen will demonstrate how to use both natural and artificial light to photograph your work on plain backgrounds and offer some key image editing tips.
This workshop is the sought after two day workshop by Linda Bloomfield. There are two elements of this workshop: (i) glaze materials lecture and (ii) practical glaze making and discussion.
This specialist walk has been developed for London Potters members and focusses on the English Delftware potteries developed along the south bank of the Thames from the mid 16th - mid 18th centuries.
These two talks will cover the topics of food safety and glaze stability, enabling you to understand why some glazes may be attacked, and what you can do to minimise this happening. It will be useful to anyone who makes functional work that may go into the dishwasher or be used for food or drink.
